Hello! My name is Christian. I’m currently a student at the University of Nebraska-Omaha, where I’m studying Music Technology. I’m also heavily involved in the Jazz program, where I do the majority of my arranging. I’ve loved music and music theory for as long as I can remember, which is what spurred my desire to compose and arrange music.

I’ve been a member of numerous ensembles in the past, including UNO Jazz I, UNO Combo II, UNO Brass Band, UNO Symphonic Wind Ensemble, Heartland Philharmonic Orchestra, MAYJO, NMEA All-State Choir, NMEA All-State Band, NMEA All-State Jazz Band, Blue Knights Drum & Bugle Corps, Northern Lights Acappella, and the Loess Hills Jazz Orchestra.

My biggest passion is composing and arranging music. I’ve always enjoyed solving puzzles, and orchestrating out arrangements of music feels like one big puzzle (with the added bonus of sounding cool at the end). I’m planning to attend grad school with a focus on comopsition and/or arranging, or I hope to find a career in the studio arranging/copyist field.
